Alright everyone, Ketchapp has done it again. The newest hit game to rocket its way up the app stores ranking of the top free games is Flippy Race from Ketchapp. Flippy Race is one an arcade style game that consists of multiple levels in which you are challenged by other racers to come in first place. Once you complete each level you move onto the next, makes sense right.

In each level in the game Flippy Race you race against other players. The game play seems like it would be perfect for online play against friends or other players. It is sort of reminiscent of the game Wind Rider. Other friends of mine have thought the same thing. The question is “how do you play Flippy Race online against friends and other players?”

The format of the mobile game Flippy Race is very conducive to multiplayer play. At first glance it seems as though in each level you are racing against other players who are playing the game on their own device against you. Unfortunately, this is not the case.

In each level you are racing against bots. Thats right, not people, but artificial opponents that are not living or breathing or capable of being your friend. You are not playing against actual players. When I found this out, I was extremely disappointed. The game is awesome how it is but it would be so much more fun if you could race against other players live like you can in the game Ice Racing.io. Sadly, the ability to play online is not a feature yet.

It would also be awesome to be able to race against your friends. Whether online or through bluetooth, it would be awesome to be able to challenge and play your friends in Flippy Race. So much opportunity!

For now we will have to be satisfied with the addictive gameplay that Flippy Race offers us. We can all continue to beat all of the levels in Flippy Race and maybe one day Ketchapp will add a feature that allows us to play against one another online.
