How To Go Faster in Bumper.io

Bumper.io has established itself as the top .io style game on the Apple App Store. Well it did at one point. I believe that Hole.io recently surpassed Bumper.io on the list of top free games. Nevertheless Bumper.io remains a top five free game and is extremely addictive. I commonly find myself playing fifteen games back to back.

In my time playing Bumper.io I have found a few strategies that have helped me win hundreds of times. In this article I will discuss how to make your ball go faster in the mobile game Bumper.io.

Here is what I have found…

How to Get a Speed Boost in Bumper.io

When you play bumper.io you will notice that every now and then a ball will get a boost and shoot across the stage with a trail of fire behind it. I call this a boost. When you bump into another player while being boosted, the other player will be “bumped” extremely far and will likely fall off the stage; thus, earning you a kill.

Unfortunately there is no way to constantly use a boost in a controlled manner. The only way to get a boost in Bumper.io is for another player to hit the red area on the back of your character. This will propel you forward with a boost and if you can manage to control your ball throughout the boost can prove to be an effective way to get easy kills.

Getting a boost from another player bumping your ball from behind is not the only way for you to go faster in Bumper.io. There is another way to do so that is much more effective and not nearly as risky. To go faster in Bumper.io you simply need to get kills. As you accumulate kills, not only will your ball increase in size, it will also move faster.

You will notice that as you increase in size your ball will move faster than smaller balls. It is important to gain this advantage as soon as possible by getting a kill ASAP! This will help you move faster and be able to start hunting down other players!
