Hole.io is one of the most popular apps currently available on the Apple App Store. As of now it is ranked the eighth most popular free game. It has been top ten for a few months now. In a recent development players have lost the ability to choose between maps. Now instead of choosing between City, Islands, or Future, the game randomly chooses a map for you. Previously players had the ability to choose their favorite map. Many are asking the question “why can’t I choose a map on Hole.io?”
Why Can’t I Choose a Map in Hole.io?
Mobile gamers saw an update for the game Hole.io that removed a feature that was appreciated by many. Originally Hole.io allowed users to choose which map they played on. Now the option is gone. In addition to not being able to choose which map to play, I personally can only play the Future map.
I first noticed this issue when I opened the app to play and when I started the game I was surprised to find that I was playing the Future map. I had not yet unlocked this map so I was a bit confused. After I played the round I returned to the home screen to find that there was no way to select City or Islands.Something else kind of strange was the fact that my high score for Hole.io was not saved.
As of now it is uncertain whether or not this will be a permanent change for the game or it is just a glitch.
How to Choose a Different Map on Hole.io
Hopefully Voodoo will correct this problem in the near future. However, as of now there is no way to choose a different map on Hole.io. For some the app randomly rotates through maps and for others the game is stuck on one map.
It would be a shame if the ability to choose your map in Hole.io was removed. I know a lot of players will be upset if it is the case that Hole.io will now just randomly rotate between maps.

I think that hole.io is really boring because it just has the same map the whole time. I think you should give players a chance to choose maps, or else your product will not get many views.
