It is just now beginning to cool of in Raleigh, North Carolina. Whether this is due to normal weather patterns, or an influx of ghostly new residents is up to you to decide. A huge project just dropped today on the App Store that allows you to suit up and join the Ghost Busters to protect the capital city of Raleigh, NC. All you need is a smartphone and some cool friends to accompany you on your hunt. If you haven’t downloaded the game Ghostbusters World I highly recommend you do.
The mobile game Ghostbusters World is very similar to the hit game Pokemon Go. The major difference is that instead of hunting down different Pokemon, you are hunting down different ghosts that have infested Raleigh. The object of the game is to collect all the different kinds of Ghosts and let me just say it is very addictive. I have noticed a small spike in my heart rate when a new ghost pops up on my scanner. Best Places to Play Ghostbusters World in Raleigh, North Carolina
Raleigh offers a lot of awesome places to play the game Ghostbusters World. Raleigh has plenty of shopping centers, parks, and walkable area to really be able to search for and find the most rare ghosts in the game Ghostbusters World. Below are some of my favorite spots!
Playing Ghostbusters World in Downtown Raleigh
Downtown Raleigh provides players with a variety of different places to play the game Ghostbusters World. My personal favorite place to play is in Cameron Village. Cameron Village offers sidewalks and tons of different ghosts as well as portals to get more traps.
My favorite part about playing Ghostbusters World in Cameron Village is that there are plenty of coffee shops as well as ice cream shops so I can refuel while I wait for the doors to reset. My favorite place to take a breather is Goodberry’s.
The next best place downtown after Cameron Villiage is North Carolina State University. NC State, like Cameron Villiage, has plenty of area to walk around and plenty of doors to get more traps. I have seen herds of students walking around playing Ghostbusters World. I have seen tons of rare ghosts on their campus. The only downside to Playing Ghostbusters World at NC State is that campus is very busy during the day and parking can be limited. But if you wait until night, you will be able to collect a ton of ghosts in a short period of time.
Playing Ghostbusters World At the Mall
Raleigh offers two major malls to play Ghostbusters World in. Crabtree Valley mall is the easiest for me to play in so that’s usually where I go. The mall is a great place to find rare ghosts but is not as good as North Carolina State University or Cameron Village. Dimensional doors are scattered across raleigh but some areas have more than others. Below I will share where you can find more dimensional doors in Raleigh.

Dimensional doors are an important part of the game Ghostbusters World. They allow you to reload on traps as well as gain xp that can help you unlock better equipment. Raleigh is full of Dimensional Doors it is just a matter of finding them.
As you play you will begin to notice that each dimensional door has a name. The name usually corresponds with either a landmark, or a building. Most major buildings/ landmarks have a dimensional door associated with them. So if you go to a place that is full of historic landmarks, monuments, or important buildings you will find more dimensional doors.
